About WedQuix

WedQuix is where I keep the fashion ideas actually worth trying — the ones that survive a busy week, a real budget and a critical eye.

Hi, I'm Ella Hartwell

I’m Ella Hartwell, and I started WedQuix because wedding shopping can get loud fast. I wanted a quieter place where the details matter, especially the ones you feel when you sit, lift your arms, walk the venue, and dance a little. On WedQuix you will find practical styling notes for women’s bodice fit, sleeve behavior, and waist placement, plus men’s outfit pairings that respect comfort and drape. I also map seasonal picks for travel photos, then finish the look with accessories and shoes that support the fit instead of fighting it.

How WedQuix started

WedQuix began the way most good wardrobe habits do, with a mess I couldn’t ignore. I was rebuilding my closet after a move, and every “great” outfit looked off once I stood in front of my mirror at home. I started jotting notes on what worked, what didn’t, and which sizing tricks saved me.

When friends asked where I found the ideas, I realized I’d been collecting more than looks. I wanted to share the small, practical decisions that make outfits feel right for both men and women, not just for photos.

What you'll find here

On WedQuix, you’ll find outfit breakdowns, fit notes, and styling ideas for men and women that come from trying things on in real life, not from trend reports. I focus on how clothes behave: drape, stretch, breathability, and how pieces layer without getting bulky. I keep track of what I wear for workdays, weekends, and events, so my recommendations are based on repeat use, returns I didn’t make, and the tweaks that finally landed.

Why you can trust WedQuix

One editor, no content mill: I (Ella Hartwell) plan, write and check every guide myself. An idea makes the cut when I would actually try it, and older posts get reworked rather than left to rot.
